I can not find word to say how much I love this item. I have 2 small children and my sister lives 75 miles away so this is perfect for the drive to see her.

I bought one of these immediately after a particularly frustrating transcontinental flight, so I wasn't in the best frame of mind when I made my choice. I also only had a choice between this one and one made by Pioneer.

Nevertheless, after two very long business trips I have been extremely satisfied. I not only used it during the flights to watch videos, but also to listen to CDs. The battery lasts for slightly longer than 3 hours (just about as long as I want headphones on my head) and easily charges up overnight. (In the future, if I do longer trips, I might consider buying a second, backup battery.) Additionally, the unit seems rugged. I use a soft-sided totebag for travel, rather than a hard-sided briefcase, and it gets thrown/stuffed/mushed around a lot. I liked the fact that the unit was small enough, even with the battery pack, to allow me to cram a lot of other stuff in with it. (You know how we women are with our handbags and travelbags!)

The hotels I stayed at only had about 10 channels available for viewing on their TV, so I also used this unit in the evenings, for both DVDs and CDs. This allows me to catch up on all of those alternate soundtracks on DVDs -- something that I'm often too busy to do at home.

One very small complaint I have is that the picture seems a little grainy. However, I could have bought the Pioneer unit sitting in the display case next to this one, which had both a very good quality picture as well as a slightly larger one, but cost ($) more. Obviously, price was a factor in my decision.

This unit didn't come with headphones, so make sure you purchase a set when you get yours. The unit's speakers sound pretty tinny - but what else could you expect in a small DVD player? Use the headphones, which have a perfectly acceptable sound. And don't forget, you can select two settings that simulate surround-sound. I found that some DVDs had an improved sound with these settings, but some didn't. (There may be a technical explanation for this but I can't tell you what it is.)

The unit comes with a remote but it only works when the unit is running off of a wall outlet. I found that for basic watching, the unit's own buttons can get you through any DVD menu selections, forward/freeze/reverse/zoom options, or player setup you wish to do. (Note that most home DVD players don't have enough buttons, and require the remote for accessing all of its functions.)

I found the instructions easy to follow -- I'm the type of person who reads almost every page -- and was soon able to navigate through the unit's setup menus.

Overall, considering this unit's price, the amount of features provided, and the enjoyment I've gotten with it, I consider this a very good deal.

One last thought. If you travel with a laptop, why get one of these? Well, if your laptop has a DVD drive, you don't really have to get one of these. However, I like how compact this unit is, allowing me a little more privacy. No...I don't watch any X-rated stuff, but I also do consider my fellow travelers who might not want to see any explicit scenes in their peripheral line of sight. I can also fit this along with a cup of coffee, a snack, or a book (when listening to a CD)on the seat tray. When listening to a CD, this unit fits into my lap or between me and my handrest more easily than a laptop would.

I could not be more pleased with my purchase and use of the Panasonic "55." Hours now spent in airports, on planes, in hotels and on longer "road" trips speed by. The battery REALLY lasts 3 hours, and 55 is so easy to operate that my 3 year old granddaughter turns it on and watches it, transfixed, for as long as her favorite Disney DVD lasts. Quality? Home theater quality sound and picture, esp'ly with earphones. Screen too small for enjoyment? Dont believe it for a moment; the screen is so close it is NO problem. Price? $... is great, esp'ly when compared to other Portables. Any needed accessory? Yes. Get a recharger for the car/plane. Panasonic advertizes it, but i havent seen it offered yet by Amazon. But perhaps i havent looked hard enough.

Best Panasonic KX-TG5671S information

This was my second Panasonic cordless phone. The other was a 2.4 mhz that kept interferring with my home wireless network so purchasing a upgraded Panasonic 5.8 mhz made sense. I have no complaints regarding the phone except after 1 year and 4 months the led screen on the phone stop working.
I don't know if anyone else had this problem. The hanset was always care for and to my knowledge was never dropped. It's really tough to use the phone to look for numbers from missed calls or access the menu to make changes. I still recommend this phone and will look for a new handset to see if this corrects the problem.

I really like using this keyboard with the Samsung 10.1" Galaxy Tab. The build quality is great and there are keys to give instant access to many functions within the Android OS. The only problem is, when using this keyboard, all spell check and auto-capitalization is disabled. People are getting used to having spell check and the tablet making auto-corrections as we type. I don't want to use this for work emails because I don't have the reassurance that my spelling has been checked and I don't want to be the guy that doesn't use spell check. I have not found any way to change this.

I got this keyboard to use the tab (Samsung 10.1) as a netbook to conduct work while sitting in the jury duty pool. This keyboard is great and was easy to type on for hours. The only issue with it is its quirky nature to set the keyboard to the Android keyboard, then request you switch it to the Samsung keyboard (regardless of whether you set it this way initially or not). If you do not have it set to the Samsung keyboard it will either not respond to keypresses or certain keys won't work as desired (e.g. capslock won't toggle or one keypress will produce a string of letters). I simply have gotten in the habit of pulling up the keyboard menu(using the keyboard key on the dock) every time I start using the dock, switching to Samsung keyboard in the menu, and hitting the key on the dock to minimize the on-screen keyboard again. Then, no problems. Perhaps the quirks will be ironed out in a future update.

As for lag, some people online have reported lag in the browser or on youtube. I have experienced neither. However, some of my word documents will have lag when I try to type and may relate to the complexity of formatting or size of the document.

This is a comfortable, responsive, quiet keyboard that is great for using the tab as a netbook.

Samsung ECR-K14AWEGXAR Review by J. Hunter (Canton, OH)

Having used the Xoom portable Bluetooth keyboard for close to 5 months I was expecting a much better experience with this Samsung peripheral, and while it is close to perfect and better than the Xoom portable keyboard there's still room for improvement.

First, let me say that I am a touch typist, and I use the "home key" position. This was not possible on the Xoom keyboard because was small. This Samsung keyboard dock is bulkier but it's closer to the size of a standard keyboard, so touch typists should feel right at home after a few minutes. I've never been a fan of the tiny shift key on the right hand side, but I haven't had much of a problem striking this one conistently and accurately.

The keys are repsonsive and provide just the right amount of resistance which helps with accuracy. I really appreciate the dedicated Android keys on the top row, such as the HOME, INTERNET, and MAIL keys. The audio pass thouugh jack was also well thought out.

Onto the negatives. The dedicated Android keys can't be customized! The Mail key doesn't open up Gmail! Really? This is afterall a dedicated Google device! Not sure this can be fixed with a mere software update.

I occasionally experience a bit of lag while typing. This boggles my mind mainly because the Tab is making a direct connection with the keyboard! I would expect this type of lag using Bluetooth, but never with a direct connection. To be fair, I only experienced this lag once upon initial boot up and it hasn't reared it's head again.

The lack of a spell checker option is sorely missing! Now this should be correctable with a software update!

Overall I'm very pleased with this dock, and would easily have given it 5 stars were it not for the few issues described above. It makes the perfect desktop dock, and I like the idea of only pulling out my keyboard when I need it, rather than always having it attached to my carrying case. This is the best portable keyboard I've used for a tablet, and I'm sure the next version will be even better.

Watch out for these units. I got one with my new camera DX6490.
It quit working after about 6 months. I bought another one and it worked for another 3 months of light use. One minute they work, the next minute you are throwing them away. A waste of money. The camera on the other hand works fine if you read the manual and follow it. I'm still having trouble with getting out of focus pictures one in a while.

It was time for me to move on from one of my favorite fragrances and find something new. I received a sample of this several months ago and fell in love with it. It was the first time in a long time that I had worn a new fragrance and actually received unsolicited comments by way of compliments.

GUERLAIN describes Insolence as "Exuberant notes of violet are accompanied by jubilant red berries like raspberry. A hint of orange blossom and rose impart a striking intensity, while sensual iris and tonka bean resins finish the scent, making Insolence the ultimate luxury fragrance."

I have always preferred fruit over floral, but quite often the scents end up being too sweet to be sensual or good for evening wear. The thing that I enjoy about this fragrance is that I find it the perfect one to wear both at work and for an evening out. Although the scents of berries and vanilla are there, they are mellowed out with the scents of orange blossom and rose without overpowering them.

I would never order a fragrance without testing it first because they can smell very different on each person when they react with your own body. If Insolence sounds like something you would like I would strongly recommend getting a sample first.

Monster Cable makes a lot of great cables. I think they are most known for their stereo cabling which is of much higher gauge than generic speaker cables, and they have great cables for the RCA in and out jacks as well. These are all ANALOG signals, and the extra quality can (and does) make a huge difference.

On a digital connection, ambient interference is automatically filtered out. I don't own this item, but had to say I did in order to write a review. Cheap IEEE1394 cables are just as good. If you want to line the pockets of Monster Cable, replace that junky speaker cable you bought at Radio Shack!

I've tried several different tire gauges and took them right back to the local retailer. After my son in law requested a milton tire gauge for Christmas I ordered one for him and one for myself. Most of us have bought frames that showed signs of poor craftsmanship, most particularly seen in the corners where the sides meet. Not in this case, in fact, the frame looks (and feels) like it was cut from a single piece of lumber! Very happy and looking to order more from Pinnacle...

This frame was exactly what I was looking for! Our family portrait looks great in it and for the quality and size, the frame was an amazing value. Probably the only downside to this frame was the time it took to ship and arrive, but that was clearly denoted on the Amazon site. Well worth the money!
